Absorbing the heritage of Bangkok as Thailand's riverside capital and inland port of call, Siam Yacht Club sits beside the Chao Phraya River with a close view of the trundling rice barges, brightly-lit pleasure launches, and other vessels plying this perpetually busy waterway.

The riverbank breathes history, with ancient temples and shrines, landing piers and markets, and the old Customs House and Grand Postal Office, while the Charoen Krung neighborhood merges directly into Chinatown.

For food, drink and good times, however, Siam Yacht Club is totally about today.
